COVID-19 information and guidance

Fraudsters are trying to exploit the Coronavirus outbreak as an opportunity for financial crime by posing as trusted organisations like schools, banks and even the World Health Organisation.

They may pretend to offer medical guidance or a safe haven for your money. They’ll then ask you to make a payment into a safe account, giving personal or financial information.

Typically, these fraudster will get in touch through:

  • Phone calls
  • E-mails
  • Text messages
  • Social media

Branch, ATM and delivery service arrangement

Operating hours of all the HSBC branches are back to normal effective 9 March.

HSBC’s ATMs at Galaxy Macau (UA Cinemas) and Kiang Wu Hospital are temporarily out of service due to closures of respective outlets and the consideration to safeguard the health and safety of our customers in response to the current Novel Coronavirus situation.

Meanwhile, due to the special arrangement for services adopted by the Macau Post, customers may encounter delays in delivery of the following banking mails and items:

If you would like to view your eStatements, eAdvices or transaction history, please logon through HSBC Online Banking to access account related information. Alternatively, you may manage your account and perform banking transactions using HSBC Phone Banking or nearby self-service banking terminals.
